I remember reading somewhere that things will stay frozen for 2 days if you don’t open the door but I accidentally turned off the surge protector for 6 hrs and couldn’t get it to freeze right again. Fortunately they have the BEST support dept I’ve ever had to utilize. They get right back to you and have actually read what your problem is! Then they follow up to make sure you’re problem is resolved. I’m super happy I purchased this and would do it again in a heartbeat. Oh, btw it’s placed in my bedroom as my apt is so small. Situation resolved and now I will brag about the freezer. First it is quiet and do not realize on till a soft click tells you cooling. Second it fits way more than I thought it would, put a Pork Butt Roast in bottom along with 6 lbs of bacon. Rest filled with veggies and fruit from harvest. Would definitely recommend. When first opened door there was a chemical smell but rinsed out with vinegar water and took care of that.

control knob is on the back – After picking a spot for it (it was delivered flat on its side and I saw no this end up markings on box) we let it set for 30 hours and then plugged it up. Started hunting the control knob. Sure it cannot be on the back! Wrong! That is just where it is at. So, if you need to change it you must slide, pivot or what ever you must do to change it. I would never have bought this freezer had I known that the dial was in the back near all the other electrical junk.
