This extension is a nice addition to the fan – This does exactly what we needed. I have high ceilings and the vent didn’t go to the ceiling. I had bought a fan that was broan and 500$ that didin’t have an extension, it was a nightmare. This extension is a nice addition to the fan. I love the fan too.

extension – so glad when it came in on backorder. Amazon people were so helpful on that. Went with my range hood, which construction finally done and in, and looks awesome. Turns out we didn’t need extension anyway, but too late to return

To Expensive – The stack was needed because the company only furnishes 2 short pieces that need to interlock and thus reduces the overall length. Since I had a 9′ ceiling height, I had to buy this 36″ extension for 35% of the cost of their hood.

Poor quality, expensive return – Very slim , won’t fit 99% of the hoods. Cost me $80 to return it .
