It’s great for what I needed. – The ice is a good size, not very noisy, doesn’t keep the ice cold after it makes it, so you need to keep it emptied as soon as it’s made, but that’s not a problem for me. The plug in the bottom could be a problem, because when you are not using it it needs to be emptied. You have to remove the plug to empty and it is plastic, therefore eventually wearing out. All in all I like it and it does what I need it to do… make ice.

GREAT – We love it. The only issue is that it is rather loud. It makes ice very quickly and I am able to enjoy my iced water and teas again! Our Samsung fridge is SLOW in the icemaking department. We never had enough ice for all of us. Now, that is not a problem.

I will give you a hint ,as far as icemaking quicker start your process with ice cold water .that will produce your ice cubes faster .I love that the controls are on the top facing you instead of the back away from you overall the cubes are made quicker ,larger. They taste the same as water from the tap. Overall I like my new ice maker

Makes ice fast – I travel and stay in our RV a lot. I needed to get something to make ice and this machine does it. I use filtered water from our Berkey and the ice tastes clean in our drinks. You have Ice in about 20 mins as the first batch it makes is small as it gets going. If the ice sits in there it just melts back into the bottom to be reused. We make ice and put it in the freezer, for later.

Fast ice maker. – A friend has one of these (not same make) and we loved how fast it made ice. We live part time in FL so we don’t use tap water to make ice but constantly filling ice trays in annoying. This works great, pour in bottled water, produces ice quickly but, even though you can choose between small or large cubes, I found no difference in the size. Also, the cubes do seem to come out somewhat wet (like they are not quite frozen) so I put each basket full in a ziplock bag in the freezer and once frozen completely, I shake the cubes apart and add them to my cube bin in the freezer.
