Terrible Customer Service – We purchased this oven from Amazon. Delivery went perfect, item description was accurate, and we liked the look of the oven. We plugged it in and the exhaust fan made a shrieking sound and wouldn’t shut off. We had to pull it out of the wall and unplug the oven to get it to stop. I contacted Thor because it was a manufacturer warranty issue and their customer service was terrible. The first rep told me I had to go to the website and wouldn’t help me enter a ticket. Then I entered a ticket but didn’t have the serial number since this is at our second home but they wouldn’t even open a ticket without the serial number. I had to pay someone to go to the house and get it. Then when I provided the serial number they ignored my phone calls asking for updates and when they finally did respond, they subcontracted out the warranty work to a company in KY, who emailed me and told me I would have to find my own contractor to do the repairs. I called at least 10 companies and as soon as I said Thor they refused to look at it because they said Thor withholds payments and is difficult to work with. So I have a stove broken right out of the box, a manufacturer who did nothing to make it right (or even apologize for the issue), and an industry that refuses to work on their products. DO NOT BUY A THOR BRAND APPLIANCE!

Buy it Nice or Buy it Twice! – This oven arrived and looked great in our remodeled kitchen out of the box. Flash forward a few months and the oven stops working completely. Upon further research, there is next to NO SUPPORT from Thor. So, heading into the holiday season, we will now be dropping another $5k on new oven to replace, as there is no solution for this Thor unit.

The range lives up to it’s name THOR!! – We did a lot of research before purchasing this range for our new home. We only have electric available for use in our area. We are huge foodies so 36″is the only option for us! That narrowed down the choices for us. Previously we had a gas cafe GE range, high standards. We have been using THOR for about a week so far it’s amazing!! Every aspect the oven, the cooktop, cleaning is a breeze. With all of the shipping delays we did wait a little longer but we didn’t mind. The company did a great job of staying in open honest communication with us the entire time. We had such a positive customer experience we would not hesitate to do business with them again!

Dont buy Thor Kitchen Products – Purchased Thor HRE 3601 March 2022, Nice range and oven and “looks” like a quality build. I particularly liked the layout of the range burners with both larger higher power rings in the front right and left with a smaller warming ring in the middle. The issue has been parts and service. The unit was received with some cosmetic damage, I needed the oven, so I just called in the claim and began using the unit. I received a call from Thor to set up an appointment, but I was out of town at the time, I was told to call back when I was ready. Oven broke in September, tried to get a service tech to schedule warranty work as well as the cosmetic fix. We spent a week trying to confirm my original claim…it was never found or approved. We moved on to the fact the the oven wasn’t working. It’s now coming up to December and I’m still waiting for a technician
