Asthmatics rejoice, tree-huggers frown – I absolutely love this thing! I had one many years ago when they first came out and loved it! The reason I love this thing so much is because as an asthmatic and with a child with severe asthma and sensitivities I did not want to use the other kind of non-electric vacuums that you dump the debris into the trash because of the cloud it makes when you dump. There is the environmental side though of this product, the refills produce waste, but do not flair up asthma, so honestly I am torn about how “good” they are. They are great for my family’s health but for our earth they are not so friendly.

Really not worth it – So I bought the swiffer carpet flick cause I have a small kid and there are continuous crumbs and rice and you name it on the carpet near my dining table.

I bought this as a back up. – I’ve been using the Swiffer Carpet Flick Carpet Sweeper for years and I love it. I hate taking out my large heavy vacuum everyday but with my family there is always a need for some clean up. The carpet flick is fast and easy and helps keep my house looking neat and tidy very easily. Too bad it was discontinued so I have an extra in case mine breaks or someone visiting my house swipes it. You can find refills on ebay and there are instructions on the internet on how to make your own.

This is great! – This works very well to clean up small messes on carpet and rugs. It does okay on sizes up to Cheerios. The particles get flipped onto an adhesive sheet, and then you just throw the sheet away. It’s pretty cool.

SAVE YOUR MONEY – Having been a user of several Swiffer products since they came out, I looked forward to the Carpet Flick as a way of cleaning the dog hair and fuzz off my rugs. BIG MISTAKE! As others have noted on reviews on this site, this just sweeps the fuzz and dog hair into piles on the floor and does NOT pick it up. Calling P&G did little, since they kept telling me how this would pick up crumbs, dirt and grass. If it does not pick up dog hair and fuzz, don’t sell it for that purpose.

I Love It! – This weird little contraption is perfect for individuals like me that already use masking tape to pick up crumbs and such that the portable vacuums they have a whole closet full of just don’t seem to be able to suck up, no matter how many times they run them over the carpet. The only issue I have with this item is that refill cartridges for it are very hard to find.
