Big Little Washer – The belt in my aging Magic Chef 1.9 cu ft. washing machine was starting to go out, so I decided to replace the machine with a bigger one. I’ve attached photos of the machines side-by-side so that other people with machines in the 1.6-2.0 cu ft. range can get an idea of the size difference. The RCA is about the same width and depth as a portable/rollaway dishwasher. This RCA unit (and basically every other compact washer sold online) is clearly made by the same outfit in China which made the Magic Chef – everything from the design to the end of cycle chime is identical. With that in mind, just buy the cheapest one you can find in the size you need and slap a 5 year replacement plan on it, because the odds are in favor of you needing it eventually.

Great little washer – I love the washer. Works great. I only gave four stars because washer had a dent in it and appeared to have been repackaged and was missing the manual. Styrofoam was also disintegrated and all inside washer tub. I had to pick it out before I could use it. I looked up manual online. But the washer works great and it was a great deal.

Toploader with an Impeller at a bargain price – The first thing one needs to grasp is that at 3.0 cu ft this is a pretty large and heavy machine — definitely a two-person lift. If you want to retain the portability feature I suggest you buy a “mobile roller” and install it on that like I did.

Works Well, but can be noisy, especially on the spin cycle – PROS: The washing machine works well, holds a lot of clothes and washes the clothes very clean. I am able to wash queen size comforters in it. I like the large size capacity of the machine and the various wash cycles. I have it on a dolly so that I can easily move it a few feet to connect it to the faucet in my kitchen, it came with the hose and all the necessary connections. This machine is large and is comparable to a regular size machine. It will not fit in a extremely small space such as a bathroom or a closet. (I have it stored in my kitchen). It does not use a lot of water which is a plus.
