2 burner built in cooktop – I like the dial for temperature setting, easy to clean feature. It could put out a little more heat on the burners

Nice, reasonably priced cooktop – I ordered this unit approximately one year ago and finally installed it recently in a bar/kitchenette during a remodeling project in my basement. The only shortcoming is the lack of concise instructions for USA installations as it seems to be tailored to British installations. There has been questions regarding the proper amperage breaker for electrical service. I simple added up the wattage (1800 +1200) for the burners and ended up with a 15 amp breaker with 14 gauge wire for the service. (amps X volts = watts, or watts divided by volts = amps. 3000 watts divided by 240 volts is 12.5 amps. ) I’ve run both burners on high at the same time and the breaker does not (and should not) trip.

6 years later still going strong – in a rental! – We have this installed in a Formica countertop in a rental studio apartment. Installed 2015, still going strong EXCEPT a tenant managed to strip the knob on the small burner by not understanding that you must PUSH DOWN before turning the knob – safety feature!

Update to previous rating – Initially the unit did not work upon installation. After calling customer number on website they could not help, but said they would elevate and I would be contacted. I was, the representative reviewed my issue and immediately had a new unit sent out. The new unit works as advertised and great. it heats up in a couple of seconds and glass top seems of good quality and easy to clean. So they do have good customer service . Original problem appears to have been damaged in shipment.

It is a bit slow to heat & large pots & pans interfere with each other & the knobs but then again it is a small unit & that is what I needed for the small space available to me.
