5-Burner Cooktop – My wife loves her new cooktop with 5 burners! It is a shame that the first one we got was defective and couldn’t use it for Thanksgiving dinner! It would have saved us a lot of time and work preparing for our family get together that day…however, now we will be prepared for our Christmas party!

Great cooktop for a great value – I really like the 5 burners and no knobs. The reason we got a new cooktop was because the exact replacement knobs for our old cooktop were almost as much as this entire new cooktop with 5 burners instead of 4 on our old one. And, this one heats up much faster.

Good, but first you need to know… – 1. The correct minimum width cutout size is 29.15” (not 28.38”). I had to buy a grinder & granite blade to widen my existing cutout (and you would not believe the dust/mess that covered every surface of my entire home! Clean-up was HUGE, so be sure to close off the area if you have to trim granite).

I had indicated we had problems with this, but the Karinear team contacted me with a solution (turns out a child lock somehow became enabled so if suddenly you can’t get anything to work, that’s probably the culprit). The manual was missing from our package, so that was the core problem as we couldn’t figure out why things weren’t working without it. Since things are labeled only with icons and not text it’s a guessing game without the manual. Anyway, our problem has now been solved quickly and a PDF copy of the manual has now been provided, so we are changing our review to a positive one. The stovetop heats up quickly and cooks effectively, and has a nice clean look. We appreciate the quick resolution of our problem.
