Small ice and melts so fast – I’ve owned other ice machines so my review is based on that comparison. The reason I’m returning this item is because the ice (even if you select the bigger size) is very small. Even I could get past that, the ice melts super fast in my drink (less than 1 minutes). So I end up with a watery drink versus a cold drink within the first minute. I have not had that issue with other ice machines. I wanted to love it due to the great price, but I got tired of the ice melting so fast in the drink. By the way, I’m indoors in a cool room using a steel, insulated cup. If you leave the ice in the machine, it sticks together and you have to break it apart. Again, I have not encountered this issue with other machines. If you can live with these issues, then this is a good price.
