Worst Icemaker I ever bought – I bought this icemaker because it had pretty good reviews. There’s always at one or two that complain that it’s too loud or something stupid like that. I had high hopes for this icemaker since it produce more ice in my last one. However when I got it and added the water, it worked fine. But once it ran out of the water and filled it back up again I noticed that it didn’t start up right away. I waited five or 10 minutes and it still hadn’t started up. So I turned it off and turned it back on and it started working fine again. When the ice was full I normally would dump it into the freezer to keep the ice good longer and let it refill back up again. But once I put the empty basket back in, again it didn’t start back up. I waited a few more minutes but it never started. I thought maybe it was a defective product so I requested an exchange on Amazon. Sent back the old one and got the new one, but still had the same issues. The new one was actually worse as I would turn it off and turn it back on but it still wouldn’t start making ice. I had to send back the second one and just opted to buy a whole new icemaker, of a different brand. Don’t buy but this one!!

I’ll go to department store next time, that way I’ll take it back with a receipt and not have a limited time to return the item if it’s defective. I’m angry!
