Perfect replacement for my broken ice maker kit – This is just what I needed. My old icemaker tubing developed leaks. I ordered from Amazon with 2 day shipping and I installed it later the same day.. Saved a lot of $$$ on a plumber

Works, but you may have to disassemble it after installation. – This product works like specified, and does not leak. The one issue I had was that the piercing pin came loose from the valve body and got stuck in the copper water main line. This meant that I had to shut my water off and take the whole thing apart to remove it. It was stuck in the pipe at the fully closed position, so when I turned on the valve for the first time I had no water. Took me a minute to figure out what had happened, but once I did and got the pin out, everything was fine. If you’re not comfortable taking shutting off your water and taking it apart, maybe look at another one.

Ordered this kit even though I didn’t need the valve that came with it to upgrade to something more flexible. Plus I was starting to get green ice cubes because copper tubing was old and worn out. This kit is great and was easier to install than the copper one was. Great product and highly recommended
