Not as quiet as claimed but definitely quieter than most – I paid more for what I thought was a quiet fridge but it isn’t that. It’s right next to my bed and if the TV is off it’s pretty noticeable. Otherwise, it is really nice

Super Quiet! – I received this refrigerator today. It was in perfect shape…no dents or damage. I rent a bedroom on the the upper level of a home and like to keep to myself so I looked at various mini fridge models to put in my room. I needed decent freezer space and one that’s quiet. No joke…even sitting right next to it, I don’t hear it. There’s a good amount of freezer space. I can definitely fit a few frozen dinners in there. The instructions say to wait 24 hours for the temperature to correct levels, but it already feels cold after only an hour. I will update once I use it for a bit. But, so far, 5 stars!

deserving of the good reviews – I purchased this item based on several reviews that rated it as the best mini fridge. it’s not much taller than a traditional mini-fridge even though it has a separate freezer – total bonus. it’s sturdy and weighs just enough to let you know it is built with quality. I was delighted to see the light in the refrigerator section when the door is open. it has glass removable shelves and a plastic vegetable crisper department – all fitting in quality for a small economical min-fridge. overall I’m impressed.

So far I LIKE this fridge. – This is my second mini-fridge and I like this GE much better. First, the separate freezer compartment keeps most of the ice crystals in the freezer and not building up the the fridge section. Second, the GE is in my bedroom and runs QUIETLY, whereas my other mini (in my garage) has an obviously noisy compressor. The only sound I can hear from the GE is the temperature sensor switch DOES make a ‘Click’ sound when activating the compressor, after that – silence. So far I LIKE the GE Mini Fridge.
