A great ice machine for excellent ice nuggets… but they melt – So this machine makes amazing ice nuggets. I like to chew ice, and these make it so I don’t break my teeth. Yay for that. 5/5 stars for the nuggets alone. Restaurant style and quality ice nuggets.

Makes chewable ice that’s great for parties – I’ve have this ice make for a while now and it’s been very reliable. You should follow the instructions for first use, but after that, it’s easy to use. You just need to fill the top water tank with water and turn it on. It’s does take but 20min to start seeing ice dropping into the ice tray. It takes about 4hrs. to fill the ice tray. The ice is just fun to snack on by itself or with your favorite cold drink.

They both stopped working, I spent hours on calls with customer service and nothing corrected the issue. Had to send them back and got 2 more in replacement. They both lasted about 7-8 months and quit working. Please trust me I used them exactly as instructed with the correct water because I LOVE the ice. Last Opal died 3 months ago and after researching and talking to people who had this ice maker I bought it! So far it is amazing and the ice is better than the Opal. It is noisier than the Opal but if it continues to work I will not complain!

Major downfall….we work in an office and if you don’t empty daily it doesn’t stay fully cold and melts all over the place. We have come into major water on the floor. Now we just waste alot of ice dumping daily to prevent this.
