I can boil water! – I am pleased with this unit. It took me about an hour to install after I got the old one out. I really like the center wok burner for stir fry and for rapidly boiling water for pasta. It is also nice that I can put nearly all of the parts in the dishwasher. Cleaning the stainless steel base with soapy water and a sponge hasn’t scratched anything. So far so good.

I finally have the heat I need for Wok cooking – This was a drop-in replacement for an existing cooktop and so far has been a nice upgrade. The cooktop has been easy to use and the center three-burner position is doing great providing sufficient heat for wok cooking. With my old cooktop, I wasn’t getting the heat and reheat performance needed to get the best wok outcomes but this cooktop seem to hold it’s own.

I felt that I had to be extremely careful during install to not knock it or over tighten or risk it cracking or stripping. The knobs for each burner “wobble” as though they are also mounted some plastic internal component. Plastic connections and plastic components used for gas make me pretty nervous. I was disappointed in those elements, but otherwise am happy with the cooktop.
