Arrived Dented – Works fine and is a good price for a basic unit with analog buttons (what we wanted). BUYER BEWARE – the hood arrived dented, though there was no damage to the external package. Several other people have reported the same thing, it seems to be a pattern with this product. Didn’t want to deal with sending it back, so Amazon gave me a $86 credit (35%) but it took a LOT of negotiation over chat. If yours arrives dented, don’t settle for less!

Good looking product but it was damaged – It came in with a visible bump and would had been pretty obvious to the naked aye that the product was damaged. The damage may had happened during shipping. Also, the installation template for hole openings was confusing

Decent hood with some flaws – Hood Works well… I ended up ordering 2. Both of them were received with a slight bow in the left front top of the unit… I decided I would work with it and use some trim to hide it. This thing is an utter pain to install because the top is not flat/level. It slopes from back to front by 1/2″, so you’ll need to add straps/shims to level it to a ceiling… I have no idea why on earth they would design it this way. It comes with a plug with a wire that protrudes from the top, so again mounting it flush to a ceiling is a PITA. It works well and looks good, which is why I kept it, despite the issues with it. When you mount it, make sure you use a piece of cardboard to make a template of where to drill the holes..it will make all the difference. I ended up having to use different screws and washers to make sure this thing would hold. It’s pretty heavy. The instructions stink as well…

Great shopping experience – That is great! It is modern looking and has good suction power. The LED touch panel works as expected and the LED lights are handy. In terms of sound, even at it’s highest setting it is much quieter than a microwave and it looks great! Overall, no issues so far.
