Poor quality control during assembly. Arrived, and installed, and then… – I go to open the oven to find that this handle is loose. “OK, a loose screw.” I thought. Only there is no way to get to it. Now it looks like I am going to have to spend even more money, hiring somebody to come out and fix the handle, before the door is destroyed. Poor quality control during assembly.

Sorta fits where the other one was but not perfect. – Had a 30 yr old Jenn-Air wall oven that quit on me a couple weeks ago. They don’t make replacement parts for it anymore so I had to find something else to replace it with. The dimensions of this GE Profile were as close as I could find so I bought it. It arrived today and it took quite a bit of maneuvering to get the old one out and this new one in. Once it was in it fit good side-to-side, but there was a pretty noticeable gap at the top because this oven was a couple inches shorter than the one it replaced. May have to install a piece of trim to fill the gap but haven’t decided yet. Tried the broiler for a few minutes and a lot of smoke came off the new burners. Be ready for that. I just ran broiler for 5 minutes at a time and let the smoke clear out. Took about (3) times before all the smoke dissipated and the burners stopped smoking. Tested the oven and it went to 550 degrees as advertised. Cooked a nice casserole in it at 375 degrees for 45 minutes and it turned out great. So far, happy with the way it looks and works.
