Gets hot really quick – After putting the feet on the induction cooker I tried to use and realized I didn’t have any skillets or pots that were compatible. Luckily in the instructions it states to put a magnet to the cookware if it sticks then the cookware will work. So the only skillet I had that would work was a iron skillet. I noticed once I turned on and set the power level it got hot very quickly. It out beats my stove. The fan system to cool down was not loud and it cooled off quickly. This would be great to use if you went camping and had access to electric. Overall I’m pleased with the induction cooker and would recommend to family and friends. I foresee me using this a lot.

Great for boiling water. Kitchen is cooler. – I’ll admit I’m a sucker for kitchen gadgets and small appliances. I bought this cooktop as an emergency device in case the natural gas supply is interrupted by shortages or catastrophe. It’s also handy as an extra cooking surface for big meals. While getting it out of the shipping box it slipped and fell to the floor. Fortunately, the product is well insulated from shock with foam inserts, so no damage at all. Works great and so easy to use. Can set temp or power level.

Beautiful, clean style. Two burners but still operates on 120 V power. – I ordered this cooktop to replace an infrared unit on my boat. I have not had time to install it yet but since it’s designed to be used as a standalone or drop-in unit I started testing it already. My first impressions were great! The glass plate is a very glossy black and looks very high-end. The controls are simple and well labeled. The power settings are one through nine starting at 100W and going up to 1800W. I was curious how that worked given it runs on 120V power supply. 1800W at 120V is 15 amps. In the manual it talks about it in a section named power-sharing. It says “when both burners are on, one of the two burners would not have a power level higher than 1300 W. Both of them together would not be more than the maximum 1800 W. If only one burner is on, the heating zone can maintain its full heat setting, but when operating both burners, their combined total is max 1800 W.”

Large and smar – We purchased this to use camping my initial thoughts when taking it out of the box is that it is larger and heavier than I expected. It did come with feet so that it can be used unmounted.

A bit small for use with larger (12″-14″ pans) but effectivem holds temp well – The actual heating elements are on the small side, but if using with smaller (say 10″) pots or pans, this is a great little cooktop that heats faster than an electric stove, but not as fast as a standalone Induction range (although to be fair, it does run on 120VAC and not 220/240) …

Double-stove induction cooker – I bought a two-stove induction cooker. The firepower is very strong, and all kinds of food are cooked very fast. It’s very convenient for me to cook hot pot. One cooks spicy hot pot and the other boils clear soup for children. Very good. The whole family likes it.
