A must for certain places! – This machine is so easy to use, and has been a blessing! Our fridge is not on a wet wall (so no water hookup for the ice maker ), and I was exhausted trying to keep up with my family’s demand for ice cubes. Along came this sexy red ice maker and everything changed for the better! The output is great, I dump the tray of completed ice cubes into my freezer ice bucket and keep my family stocked on ice cubes without having to go out and buy bags of ice what feels like every day. Great value for the money so far!

Perfect Service! – The icemaker itself was very nice it worked perfect, not a thing was wrong with it. The only problem I had was…was my eyes…I did not read the directions correctly. I needed something that was going to hold ice all day due to I have an illness that I need ice on my old, sore body all day. This icemaker doesn’t keep ice cold long. So unfortunately I put this seller through so much trouble, so much aggravation that wasn’t necessary. Does the job – Purchased this AGLUCKY Countertop Ice Maker Machine, Portable Ice Makers Countertop, Make 26 lbs ice in 24 hours for summers at my house. During the summer we use a lot of ice with our waters. The noise level is low, but I have it in the laundry room, not in the kitchen. It is easy to use by just pouring in the water to the level it tells you. There is not funny flavor to the ice cubes. It is not super easy to clean and after time build up occurs so stay on top of that. It has two different size cubes. I do notice that the cubes melt faster than the ones in my home freezer. It does help to make ice for the house, but we might have needed to get a bigger one for our size family. I think this is ideal for like up to 6 people in a home. We have more, so at times we still run out of ice, because it melts and starts over again automatically.

Finally done buying bags of ice – I got this ice maker because I was tired of buying bags of ice because the freezer in my rental doesn’t have a ice maker. I was expecting it to make a huge amount of ice because of how big it is, so I was slightly disappointed. The maker has a basket inside that holds the ice so it really doesn’t hold a huge amount of ice for like a party or entertaining. However it’s just two in my household so it’s perfect for us. It refills quickly so their is always fresh ice as long as you keep the water full. I honestly only fill mine with a bottle of water every other day, sometimes less depending on how much ice I use. I empty and clean it out once a week. Be warned it is kind of loud especially when the ice falls into the bucket, but I don’t think it’s any louder than a ice maker on a refrigerator. I love it!!

Great machine, does what its supposed to do but you need to babysit it when making the ice… – This machine is great and it solved my problem of paying for a plumber to run a water line to my refrigerators ice maker. While this makes small ice cubes very quickly (roughly 5-6 minutes for a small batch, and maybe 8-10 for larger cubes) you have to immediately dump the freshly made cubes into your freezer or else they will melt back into the water reservoir. Once the ice is made, it falls off of these little tubes and a little platform lifts them out of the area where they were made and dumps them into a small basket that sits above the water reservoir. Unfortunately, the basket area is not really cooled so if you don’t take the ice immediately out it will completely melt back into the water tank in like 10-15 minutes. I thought it was a freezer inside the basket chamber that would simply keep it frozen after it was made, but it isn’t. It’s basically room temperature inside there with the only cold part being the metal tubes that touch the water to make the actual ice. If you need to make big batches like I often do at the beginning of the week, you need to babysit this device and constantly dump the chamber into the freezer after each batch is made or your ice will melt down and you would have wasted what you just made.
