Can be a bit noisy, but very good for the price overall. – Very good range hood. Though the first one I got had a bit of damage. There was a noticable dent in the front. Had to replace that. But it’s a very elegant looking range hood. And I love the white lights. Perfect color temperature for me.

Out of a lot of others, this one is good. – Pardon the length of this review. I looked at multiple range hoods, reviews, I went to all sorts of places including Home Depot, Lowes, appliance warehouses, and the search on Amazon and the internet were super extensive. This one I felt like appearance wise was the nicest and simplest of all of them, despite the lack of reviews I felt it could be the best out of the hundreds or hoods I looked at. So i recieved this about 2 days after ordering it, plugged it in the next day and found that the noise level was pretty low, even on the highest setting. The lights are bright. They are somewhat blueish, but not as bad as others. This hood does require a 6 inch duct line for venting purposes, but as you can see, I had to run something different. Those are 2-3 inch duct lines with a 6 inch vent register with a lot of foil tape and screws holding it together. This works very well. So for those that aren’t capable of going straight up, this will work for you. I recommend using atleast 3/16 hardware to mount the fan, I used 1/4 inch hardware with washers on the inside of the hood to ensure that the hood wouldn’t fall. The filter inserts that come with the unit are kind of a joke. They are flimsy, cheap metal, and require some adjusting to fit into place. Also the blue shrink wrapping that is put on these filters is quite ridiculous to peel off, the wrap job literally gets stuck in any little nook and cranny possible. That’s my only negative and not that bad of a negative. Thanks for reading this review. I do recommend this hood.

Haven’t needed to use the suction yet – I love my new range hood. It’s modern looking and very attractive. Unfortunately I haven’t broiled a steak yet, so can’t answer to whether the suction is good or not. Hopefully it will keep my security company from calling me every time I broil steak (!) or the fire department, which showed up incredibly fast when the security company called them once! It’s very embarrassing to continue to say, “No problem, I’m just cooking!”

Good for plugging in, not hardwiring – Overall, this hood was okay if you are going to plug it in with the attached cord. If you are going to need to hardwire it, look elsewhere. It is not intuitive or straightforward.

The Product came missing a very important piece of Item. the Cord Connector was missing. – When I received the Product we realized, that the connector cord into the wall was missing. Because of that the person I paid to stall the hood. End up leaving because he wasn’t able to install the hood. So I had to purchased the cord. And paid an additional So I end up with an additional $120.00 out my pocket.
