Thinner unit so it gives more room for cabinet drawer. – I like that the total thickness of the cooktop is only 2 inches from bottom face of glass top to the bottom of the unit. It gave me more room for the cabinet drawer below. It’s actually 1 inch thinner than my old Thermador cooktop.

Seems the top of the box and its packaging is not adequate..The first unit had issues on one of the burners would not stay lit and the LPG conversion gets were not clearly marked tio know in which burner they belong too. I would think twice about buying it.
