saved lots of money… manufacturer’s home visit would’ve cost a lot more – Several lights in the GE fridge were out… watched a YT vid, then tackled the job. Be careful and take your time… be gentle, don’t force things. I’m not the best handyman in town, so if I can do it, anyone with a little more experience for sure will fix the lights-out prob. Saved us a lot of money. Felt good that I could fix this. Little tricky in getting the item in the slot correctly, but you’ll figure it out.

Installed, worked and saved money!!! – One of the LED lights on my GE Cafe Refrigerator stopped working causing all the other to dim. The GE repair person wanted $150 just to visit plus parts. I searched the part cost $80 from GE. A few forums indicated that it’s easy to replace and the item is available on Amazon for $20. I noticed that the part is nothing more than a LED, capacitor and resistor on a printed circuit board. $20 is way over priced for this, however it’s better than $80 and most certainly better than $230. So I purchased it, installed it and now it’s working like before. Gonna keep the old part and replace the 3030 SMD white LED for $0.10 (Ebay $6.68/100pcs +shipping) in case another fails, and keep doing this process. Now, I have a replacement on hand and wouldn’t pay any of these exuberant and ridiculous $$$. Thanks and good luck to all.

Saved a bunch of money. – This was a much cheaper alternative than buying the part directly from the manufacture. Would highly recommend changing the bulb yourself after watching a YouTube video. Easy peasy.

Excellent choice to fix GE fridge lights that go out – This light bulb came on time and was very easy to install. It is exactly as described and works great so far. I cannot speak to how long it will last. However, it is MUCH cheaper than the replacement from GE. GE wants $82.50 so this is a much better option. Our GE refrigerator is model: GFD28GMLDES.
