works fine now. A couple times the buttons did not … – Works well now. Flaps right above vent are made of cheap plastic and generally pointless. They were stuck closed when installed. I removed them and threw them away (probably some retarded Govt regulation made them necesary); works fine now. A couple times the buttons did not work. I was planning on returning it, thinking it was a short (probably user error) and the company called to smooth out the problem. Seems to be working ok now. The company cares; I can say that. Probably didn’t want it back Im guessing, but they were willing to try and I give them credit for.

Rust – I received unit and looked great, had contractor install when remodeling our kitchen. We wiped it down from all the dust and rust spots formed all over. Amazon is sending us a replacement, ill gove update on second one

Beyond unhappy! – I am extremely unhappy with this purchase. We are remodeling our kitchen and I was very excited to install this beautiful range hood. The listing is WRONG! They list this as a 900 CFM hood range, not only in the description, but in the specifications and EVERYWHERE in the listing. This is a 400 CFM hood, less than half the CFM’s we were lead to believe we were paying for. Bought two months ago, just now ready to install and find out this information. So, too late to return!!! If I could give 0 stars I would for the false advertising!

So far So Good – I just received this hood yesterday and have not been able to install it yet. I didn’t have the correct tools to remove the old hood (Euro Kitchen – the one that has a curved piece of glass, similar to the Z-Line ZLKZ30B. Nevermind all the high ratings. That style hood doesn’t work. I think those are made “for show” only).

recommend for ceilings LESS than 9 ft. – Really wish the chimney had more “wiggle” room for 9′ ceilings. The chimney are in two 15 7/8 in pieces. I would have loved the chimney pieces to be about half an inch taller for an additional one in total. The current setup has my chimney just ONE inch short of to the ceiling. The hood is 12 1/2 inches and attaches to the wall via two screws that are 1 1/2 inch ABOVE the hood (total 14 inches; however the 1 1/2 inch does get covered by the chimney. . The instructions shows minimum height is 28 in and the max height is 36 in. I ended up ordering the chimney extension for 10 ft ceilings.
