Easy to install but a bit small – Very loud and I think it’s a bit too small. Look cheap but if you’re not looking for something major it works. Hate that the filter have blue color on it and does not go with anything. Easy to install, works fine but I would get a better one for sure.

GREAT CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE – We bought this unit for a remodel that ended up being delayed for 2 years. It sat in the box and we finally were able to install it but it failed less than 48 hours later. The motor stalled. HOWEVER, we called customer service and they were AMAZING!! They asked us to take a short video of the motor problem and email it to them. They immediately sent a replacement unit free of charge! The new unit works great and we are very pleased with it and the incredible customer service we received! I would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND purchasing this unit or any other unit from Winflo!! You just don’t get customer service like that anymore. They were incredible!

fresh air – Very nice, my vents were square so I had to change to round I didn’t like the hood mounted on drywall so I located a 2×4 stud in the wall and made a wood support bracket in the wall, repaired the drywall and mounted it . very solid mount. Great design, great performance good value , Love it

Winflo 30″ Convertible Range Hood – I wanted to wait until I have used this hood for a while, before reviewing it. My husband installed this hood, with just a little help from me. We had to install an outlet, up high, behind it, but that was the only tedious part. I didn’t really want a range hood, but, if I had to have one, this one was beautiful, fit into our budget and, now that I have had the time to use it…I find that I can live with the noise level, on low setting, and still hear my radio. I placed little clear “rubber bumpers” on the sides, where my cabinet doors hit the hood, so no dents in the hood or marks on the doors. I have to use a three step ladder to clean the chimney all the way to the top, and I use Weiman Stainless Steel wipes to clean all of the surfaces, usually, once a month. We bought the replacement filters that go inside, as ours doesn’t vent to the outside. I check them, periodically, but, they don’t need replacing, yet. The lights …being the main reason I decided to install a range hood, provide adequate lighting, and aren’t too harsh…I really love the look!! All-in-all, I love this hood…I’m so glad I took my time choosing the right one for my kitchen, and I would recommend it!!

GREAT – Very very good for the money. I didn’t think that the filter would filter out the smell (I have the ductless version, no need to vent through ceiling) but wow it works. Virtually gets rid of all smells when cooking. The fants even on their highest setting are pretty quiet. Much quieter than my old set up. The LED lights are also great. Perfect amount of light. This is a no brainier. Much cheaper and higher quality that any other cents you find at the store. Very easy to install as well. I have no experience but was able to have it completely up and running in 30 minutes. Was really surprised on how great it looks and how superior the build quality is. Don’t hesitate to buy it.

Cheap, ineffective, and hard to clean – 10/23/2020. Well I have another gripe to add to my review: As of today the toggle switch that operates the lights no longer works. This was the last straw. I just went ahead and ordered a better unit. You really do get what you pay for. It is worth it to spend a little bit of extra money to get the better unit.

Details to know when installing yourself – If it needs to be flush with wall, take off bumpers if they are already attached as mine was. Place plug just above main unit on right. The exhaust pipe is 6″ and the box that covers the pipe work above the hood is 8″. Only two screws hold the main unit on the wall so be sure the screws are substantial enough to hold. After the stack is installed on top the unit becomes more secured. I didn’t use an elbow, I just used the flexible pipe that comes with the unit and exterior exhaust with one way flap.
