The – battery terminal is RECESSED! – I ordered this battery and charger, and complained because it didn’t work! They sent me a second battery and charger at no cost to me. I found out why neither of them performed! The – (minus) terminal is recessed (sunken) in the battery. It won’t touch the terminal inside the Swivel Sweeper. Therefore, it won’t work! My old battery, the red one, works fine. I was thinking of shopping for a magnet to raise it up, or even trying to solder something in there to raise it. What worked, at least temporarily is: I reached into the sweeper’s battery compartment and pulled the spring-loaded terminal up just a little with my fingernail. IT WORKED! Both batteries work fine. The batteries have held their charges for me so far. I’m just really curious why the customer service people (tech support) don’t know about this. Many of these Amazon reviewers might try this quick fix. The second picture is a battery tester with probes. The battery output is 7.5 volts DC. I set the tester to 9 volts and it indicated it was in the middle of the “good” zone. Just right. Good luck.

the battery if plugged in too long becomes unusable – It says to leave the battery plugged in for 12 hours. However, it doesn’t say it the charger can be left plugged it. To have to pay this much for a battery and charger for less than a few month usage is wasteful at the least. Provide more instructions as too usage.
