Washes dishes with some flaws. – Replaced a GE dishwasher that had seals disintegrating at the 8 year mark.

Bought sight unseen-no regrets – Ordered this sight unseen from Amazon. Ordered on a Saturday and it was here on Monday. Replaced a Kitchen Aid that was so poorly designed that the soap dispenser was blocked from opening if you loaded the lower rack fully. Every plastic part was brittle and kept breaking and I had to tear it down and manually clean the food chopper every week. I did not want to go the KitchenAid/Maytag/GE/Westinghouse/Kenmore route ever again since every appliance we have owned by them has had significant problems. I took a leap of faith and ordered this Thor Kitchen. I could not find many reviews but the ones I found were positive.

looked like it had been open at some point – My review is primarily based on the way it was shipped. UPS dragged it out of the van, the box was barely held together. It was missing a plastic strap, looked like it had been open at some point. So naturally, and correctly, I assumed it was broken. Upon inspection of the damage I went ahead and checked out the rest of the unit to see if I wanted a refund or another unit shipped. It looks like a quality dishwasher, but the handle on the front is loose. The brackets that secure the handle to the front of the unit are solid, and tight, but there is no way to tighten the actual bar handle. It rolls loosely and you can actually rattle it back and forth. That left me with the impression it’s just not put together well.

Used it like 5 times – Used it like 5 times, electronic buttons didn’t work right from the beginning. Now it doesn’t work at all. Called the service support for Thor and should hear from a 3rd party in the next 3 to 5 days to come out and check it. I bought this dishwasher to go along with the stove and fridge that work great so far. Very unhappy with the outcome since I’ve remodeled my kitchen and spent $700 on a dishwasher that doesn’t work.

Weak washing machine. – I like the fact that it is a quiet machine, but I do not like the third rack. It does not get the dishes cleaned at all. Also the fact the digital control panel it activates at a minor touch. Once is activated we can’t deactivate/stop it. The spray arms are not as strong as we expected them.

I wouldn’t recommend this product. – Just feels cheap, hasn’t worked correctly since instillation, barely cleans dishes.

After 2.5 years it just stopped and while i think it is a fuse, i can not get any response from Thor’s Service team and there are very few people out there that support this brand of appliance. This falls in the you get what you pay for category. I would not likely purchase anything Thor Kitchen again.
