Washer has a small dent on the upper tin, but not a big deal. – , operators, set-up instructions manual not correct for my model, but unit seems to work well.

Speed Queen = only washer worth the money – Inherited a Maytag with new house couple years ago but within a year all my whites were dingy and never felt like anything was really clean, just wet, plus little things kept going wrong and had to replace parts, thing was only a few years old. SO. Went back to SpeedQueen – a basic, easy, analog, hard-working, best-cleaning, hard-agitating GOOD solid machine. Had one in my old house, regret leaving it behind. Now happy again (my dingy whites are already whitening up).

Even though there are aspects of this washer that are not HD like the rotary knob and the sheetmetal in the cabinet there are HD components where it matters like the motor and drum. A Solid Efficient Clothes Cleaner With No Frills. – This clothes washer replaced an old Maytag that finally gave out. We were advised the get Speed Queen because our repair person said it is a strong machine that will last a long time and that he can repair. The controls are simple and to the point. Made AND assembled in the US with a real warranty! – This is exactly the same kind of washing machine that is used in coin operated laundry mats. No electronic motherboard, unreliable sensors and it’s got real metal gears! Plus, Speed queen’s warranty doesn’t take a 3 month service reservation that only covers a motor; they actually stand by their product. It handles a full load with no problems, no off balance banging around, no draining problems, just clean clothes! Yes, it’s expensive but I would have to buy three machines at the box store to get the same, carefree years as this one. If and when I sell my house, this will come with me. The rest of the furniture is going to be piled up in the front yard set fire to.
