Far from perfect, but it gets the job done – Even after waiting four hours to plug the unit in after unboxing, it started making unusual sounds right from the get go. After running for a month now, it continues to make unusual and inconsistent noises. The worst part though is that the temperature control doesn’t work. It doesn’t matter what temperature I set the fridge at, it will cool it about 5 degrees cooler. Right now it’s set at 48 degrees, but it registers a 42 degree temperature. I’m not sure why this function doesn’t work, but ultimately, it does keep a consistent temperature (just not at the setting you input). I had some challenges loading different kinds of bottles. Wide Pinot Noir bottles are a problem and so are sparkling bottles. Sparkling has to go on the bottom, and Pinot bottles can stack on the top, but good luck getting them to fit in the middle shelves. Those are really only for thinner bottles like Riesling or Merlot bottles.

So far, good value, but watch bottle sizes – For my situation – very specific space to match and a wish to abuse the spec and store both wine and beer – this wine fridge is fine (and at a great Amazon Prime Day price – $370). But, pay attention to the seller’s note that it stores 33 Bordeaux bottles. That’s true enough, but actually, with the exception of the top shelf – and the bottom deck, if you’re only storing wine – you pretty much can only store Bordeaux-shaped bottles. Prosecco, cava or champagne, with their bulkier tails, no chance – not without squishing the racks above upwards. The same goes for pinot noir and syrah/shiraz styled bottles. Apart from that, I like it: compressor is pretty quiet, blue light is fresh looking. The temperature fluctuates a little (1-2 deg) around its set mark, but I’m happy. For me, good value!

5/5/18. It’s doesnt seem to be able to fit … – 5/5/18. It’s doesnt seem to be able to fit 5 bottles across on every shelf. Even with regular cab bottles. I put my pinots on the lowest shelf with one cab and flipped the bottles either way in order to fit all 5. And I ordered a separate digital thermometer because I don’t think it’s cooling to the temperature that is says on the digital readout. In the picture below those middle two shelves won’t take a 5th bottle. I’ll update about the temperature readout when I get the separate thermometer.

Happy to Add Another 5-Star Review – This is a really nice unit. Had another compressor unit for 20 years until a power surge blew it out along with all of my outdoor water timers.
