I’m very disappointed. – After spending approximately $1300 for a Samsung electric slide in range, I am very disappointed. It looked so sleek and it is, however, there is no outside edge so if you spill something, it goes right down the sides or front. Something I apparently didn’t think about at the time. My mistake on that one. there is a one inch gap between the stove and my counter so I purchased a “gap eraser”. It’s an aluminum slat that isn’t long enough to reach the end of the stove and it isn’t stable. The glass top is impossible to get clean and after only 3 weeks, it has a couple of scratches. If you fry on the front burners not only do you have to clean the cooktop, but the knobs and front panel too. Very poor planning. I have turned on the broiler, the warming burner and burners numerous times without knowing it. I had a 26 year old Whirlpool with a burnt out element in the oven and thought why spend $300 on a new element since it’s so old. Now I wish I had.

This Oven Has RANGE – What a Beautiful Looking Stainless Steel Over/Stove Stop! I’m thrilled that Samsung was able to make a traditional-looking oven but with modern bells and whistles. Ultimately I would say this is by far high quality because of the way they went about perfecting it. The oven pre heats so freaking FAST, We made 2 lg pizzas from Papa Murphy’s in less than 20 min and they baked to perfection! You see as time carries on and appliances evolve and change. It’s important to go with a style that will likely never age. You wouldn’t think that having Wi-Fi tied into your oven is essential but with certain dishes, if you leave them in the oven too long that can almost ruin the taste. Lastly, My personal favorite thing about the Wifi is that you can preheat the oven from your phone! It’s the little things in life you didn’t know you wanted but now will never be able to live without.

Slide in Perfection – The new Samsung 6.3 cu. ft. Front Control Slide-In Electric Range with Convection & Wi-Fi in Stainless Steel is a great oven, but like with everything in life, it could be better.

So disappointed! Too many flaws, very frustrating – After several years of use, our prior range ultimately broke and repairs would have equaled the cost a new one. Unfortunately, it was just a couple of days before Thanksgiving and most stores had big appliances on back-order due to pandemic-related delays. Finding a range that was available for pick-up within a couple of days certainly limited our selection. After endless online and in-person looking, researching, etc. we came upon this Samsung range. We have a Samsung fridge and have had good luck with it for eight years, so we were hopeful for the same with the range. Black Friday sales prices were already in effect, so we were able to purchase for several hundred less than the listed price, but was still around a thousand dollars. Ugh.
