Fit my Libman broom just fine – Bought to replace the plastic supports on a Libman broom. I wasn’t sure if it would fit, happened to workout just fine. I had to reuse the larger screws that came with my broom from its original plastic supports. The metal ones are much better in the snow as my old plastics ones kept cracking.

The Price of “Progress” – Years ago when handles were threaded wood the strength was adequate to stand the stress of the broom when encountering side pressure for whatever reason. Now in the age of technology the wood thread has been supplanted by flimsy cast metal threads that lack the strength to stand the side pressure so these braces are required, so these reinforcements are necessary.

Great product! – Great product! This brace saved me from having to buy a new broom. Originally the push broom handle was tack welded or otherwise attached to the brush head, but over years of use the weld came loose which allowed the brush head to pivot left and right, making the push broom almost completely useless. Installing the brace fixed the broom right up! The brace is well made, easy to install and works like a champ! Much better and much less expensive than having to buy a new broom… especially since I don’t have any welding equipment handy. Perfect! Did the Job Completely at Little Cost – Perfect. Did the job completely. I have a garage broom that had two sockets bored into the wood for the broom handle. After the first socket eventually loosened up and failed, I reinserted the handle into the second. Worked fine, but eventually the same happened. This garage broom brace is simple to install and now my garage broom is as solid as a rock. To install, one need only drill two pilot holes into the top of the broom for the supplied screws. The two brackets mate around the broom handle with a couple of bolts and thumb nuts. No holes or tools needed for that part.
