It stripped our problem down to nothing… and will work on most buffer brands. – We have Armstrong VCT tiles floor in our home office and the floor under our two swivel desk chairs had become flaked and yellowed. We tried scraping it off and then went to steel wool but it wasn’t coming off. I’m not sure what caused the problem but it was pretty unsightly on the white tiles or our patterned black and white floor. I purchased a few of these since they were only about 4-bucks each plus a gallon of wax stripped from the restaurant supply store (also where we get our floor wax since four rooms and a hallway are tiled) and we were ready to attack the problem with our Oreck buffer. These will work with pretty much any buffer that has a wheel of about 12-inches in diameter since the pad doesn’t attach to the buffer… it goes between a scrub brush wheel and the floor but it needs to be centered to prevent the buffer from wobbling. The pad also included the center knockout so it was a complete pad and that helped a lot to get more scrubbing on the floor. It took stripper straight from the bottle, a lot of letting it sit to work on the buildup and a lot of buffing but the problem is gone and we ordered some black office chair pads to ensure it doesn’t happen again. This pad made the process rather easy and hand scrubbing would likely have taken days. it was well worth the price and if you have waxed floors sooner or later you’ll probably have to strip them so make it easier with a pad like this one since it’s not for use only on Oreck buffers. If you’re using it strip a floor it should be rinsed off frequently and the floor mopped frequently to get the best results but do not use it on a dry floor or it will not last very long.

Product works well but does not last long. – My maintenance men seem to enjoy these pads when doing the floor. Our floors look good but he goes through these things like water. If you think you only need 6 you might want to order 12. They are a good value but they don’t seem to hold up long.
