OPTIMAL STORAGE – At 3.5 Cubic Feet, the Northair Chest Freezer is compact enough for the modern home however spacious enough to store a sizeable amount of food. Each freezer measures 21.2″(L) x 21.8″(W) x 30.9″(H) and is light and easy to move. Two baskets are also included as a bonus.
EASY TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT – Easily change the temperature by using the adjustable thermostat located on the exterior. Choose a number between 1 (Off) to 7 (Coldest). Temperatures range from -4°F and 6.8°F which allows you to customize freezing for your favorite foods.
ENERGY SAVING – Unlike many other models on the market, the Northair 3.5 cubic feet small chest freezer has a modest energy consumption of 0.45 kWh/24h. This not only means Northair deep freezers are more environmentally friendly but they also allow you to save on your next energy bill.

Almost perfect – It was lightweight, easy to get down to the basement. Once it cooled off for a day, the temp was right where we wanted it. And it continues to keep a constant temp with very little noise. My only complaint is the denting in the front. Doesn’t seem to be affecting the performance, but it is a little eye sore, unfortunately.

A Fine Roomy Small Freezer – This small, roomy Northair chest freezer is not only effricient but it is good-looking. I put it in a bedroom and it looks like a hamper. There is lots of space for that frozen food I can’t fit in my new refrigerator. I can now buy food on sale and safely store it for future use. For example I buy seasonal berries and freeze them in plastic bags for future use and now I can buy more when they are 2 for the price of 1. I enjoy single frozen meals and buy more on special now that I have my Northair freezer. I make ice in it in trays as I did not get an icemaker on my new refrigerator to save more freezer space which was still not enouhg for my buying habits. I can’t resist bargains and now I have a place for the frozen ones. A fine value!

so far, so good – Freezer came in perfect shape, but the FedEx crew managed to scrape up my driveway (this is NOT a heavy item). When I first plugged it in it started to whir, and seemed alive. I had to unplug it for a second to go directly to a dedicated wall socket and then the freezer was dead, but the lights were still on. I read the manual and it has some need to sit 3-5 minutes after unplugging to “reset”. I did that and it started up again. I left a cup of water in it overnight and it was solid ice in the morning. Set to “4”. I also bought a rubber tray to sit it in. Hopefully it will be reliable.
