Wasteful – Poorly insulated. Goes through over 3 gallons of water a da without ice being used from it. Machine is poorly insulated causing ice to melt quickly. The machine itself heats up and destroys the ice. I had this inside my 72 degree air conditioned home for over 6 months now. We had it tapped directly into a water source but then switched to better bottled water through the top. I was disappointed with how much water is wasted because of how poor the insulation is. Will not recommend. Will not buy again. It does make ice fairly quickly but the quality is poor.

Just the ice maker we needed – We were looking for a way to have plenty of ice for our active family, especially in the summer when it gets HOT where we live! We wanted a unit we could hook up to our reverse osmosis system that would quickly make lots of clear fresh ice each day and that wouldn’t be too noisy to install in our kitchen.

The only thing I don’t like is the fact that it is advertised as holding 33 pounds of ice. It probably only holds about 6 pounds. That pisses me off because that won’t fill the cooler. I will still use it often, just wish they would be honest about how much it holds. When it is full, it stops making ice. The amount of ice I scoop out only fills a small mop bucket.

You can get replacement parts, but the company will work with you – Bought this product last year. To no fault of the company mine quit working. I emailed the company and after a few back and forth emails. They don’t have spare parts and the part that quit working on mine is not replaceable. The manager reached out and offered to send me a new machine. So our machine was great we made of ice and really enjoyed have the extra ability to make ice for family BBqs. So 5 stars to the Manger. He said he would send me a new one and it arrived today.

This thing is a game-changer – My grandsons play travel and little league baseball – other grandkids (same family) play lacrosse, soccer, summer swim teams… We were constantly buying bagged ice…This machine is fantastic! Crank it up the night before games and there is LOTS of ice throughout the entire weekend.

Great little unit! – I’ve had this unit installed in my home bar for a few days now. So far, it’s working perfectly. Makes ice like crazy. I only have 2 wishes: 1) I wish it were a little taller. This would allow the ice bin to be even larger/deeper. Even on a 4″ riser it’s still shorter than my standard counter height. Not a problem, just a wish. And, 2) I wish there were an option for an internal drain pump. I don’t have a floor drain, so I have the drain line running to a condensate pump, and then to the sink drain. It’s just a bit cumbersome. Again, nothing wrong with the unit, just a wish of mine.

I built a dolly to put it on for easy access to the utilities. Turned it on the night before the event. When we arrived the next morning the bin was full and it had shut off properly. During the next few hours while setting up for the event this ice maker made enough ice to fill three 10/12 lb. reusable bags which came with ice maker. We’ve had it a month and have used it weekly with success. The timer is how the thickness of the ice is determined. Only suggestion I have is that an American write the manual for those sold in the USA
