Digital Clock not as expected – The product was packaged well, not hard to install, and not too noisy, however a main reason for selecting this particular brand was the clock. The clock is rather blurry and unless your directly in front of it and close to it you cannot make out the time. It’s as if the clock panel is set too far back and it glares off the protective cover.

Not an easy install but doable – The knock-out screw holes in the back of the hood are impossible to get to with an electric screwdriver. You must get an extension because the fans are in the way. The front screw holes are accessible.

It’s got the looks, but… – Nice looking vent hood that was reasonably priced easy to install. Given a second chance though I would choose a different vent. This vent is very loud. Medium and high are too loud to stand near while cooking so I only use the lowest speed. It does move a good amount of air though even on low. The clock which has a fuzzy display loses about 2 minutes a day which I find very annoying. I would rather have no display rather than an incorrect one so I just put a strip of black tape over the display. Now it looks like it doesn’t have a display at all. I find the lights are too dim. I would love for it to have more lights and be able to select the brightness. And finally, like most every other reviewer, peeling the shipping tape off the vent grates is beyond aggravating. Based on what others have said, I made good time since it only took me about an hour to peel it all off and that did involve taking the grates apart to get at all the tape.
