Bad Electrical – We ordered this vent hood for a remodel we were doing. We ordered in December and the box was at the job sight (quick shipping was a plus!). It took about 1.5 months for the contractor to get to installation. The unit worked for less than 1 min seconds before the vent motor seized and you could smell that the unit overheated/burned up. I would have looked for a different solution but we had a custom hood built for this unit to fit in. We did get a return authorization but WE had to pay freight which totaled $130.

Looks fantastic – I had issues with the lights and 2 fan settings not working got in touch with customer service and told them since covid they do not send technitions that would have made this process so much faster but they sent parts and I would change them it took 2 attempts but the problem with the lights is that the plug is not clipped in so it was half unplugged and the fan was the motor transformer witch was not hard to change at all now everything worked perfectly and they even created a step by step process with pictures to be able to help me change these parts the unit is so quiet in our open concept home it does not disturb watching tv or any conversation absolutely greatful for the customer service I have received! It’s 4 star because of the problems I did have but very happy with my purchase now that everything is in working order!

Great liner for a custom hood cabinet. – My cabinet maker just installed this liner in the custom hood that was built for it. It turned out beautiful. It comes with a remote control which is very handy. The width is perfect for my Kitchen Aid 6 burner stove. It has 3 speeds for venting. The Low and Med is what I’ve been using most. The high is loud, but it sure does have a lot of suction. It has a timer that you can set and a high and low light setting. The lighting is bright. I would definitely recommend this hood liner and I have.

Powerful and attractive with great features – best value I found – After doing so much research that I never wanted to look at another vent hood, I pulled the trigger and purchased this Kobe 36″ insert range hood for our complete kitchen remodel. Ironically, this was the first item I purchased for our remodel and the last item we installed almost a year after purchase (we did the remodel ourselves…). The hood is installed and we’ve used it several time but it’s not completely finished (the wood and drywall box around it are done but not finished/painted); I’ll try to remember to come back and post a pic when it’s all prettied up.
