Great product, the best frig in the family – We replaced an old GE frig with this Kenmore brand just a couple days, but have since noticed it works much much better and efficient than GE. Not only it cools fast, just in a few hours, to the desired temperature, but also very responsive to temperature control. And it’s quiet, you may not even notice it is working, the most noticeable noise is when ice cubes drop out in the bin. One more thing we are happy about: the very first cup of water coming out from dispenser is fresh with no plastic odor, unlike the GE we had with odor throughout the year from its water pipes. We tried to get a Whirlpool brand, but did not find the right one, and Kenmore is also manufactured by Whirlpool. So far, we like the product, not knowing how it works long term, but it has a one year warranty, and Amazon also offers protection plan at affordable and much more favorable price.

Great Fridge – Our old fridge failed to work properly and needed to be replaced. This Kenmore unit was budget friendly and looks pretty sleek. Plenty of room in the fridge and freezer.

Not what I expect from Kenmore – My house unit went out and I decided to replace it with a new model, but didn’t want the fancy features of wifi or see thru doors. My Kenmore Elite, which I have in my motorhome is almost double the price, but a great unit. I thought this unit, at $1400 was going to be as good, although cheaper. First off, the fit and finish are not as nice as my other unit. the drawers don’t pull out nor go back in, as smoothly as my other unit. It is noticeably noisy and the ice maker, constantly clunks. I didn’t think I’d miss my cold cut drawer, I had in my old unit, but I would definitely appreciate that little drawer back. The fridge, overall, is big and keeps things circulating and fresh. Very brightly lit, inside and the ice dispenser, although doesn’t accept taller cups, is quite easy to use and doesn’t hang up while dispensing ice. my old unit did that, a lot. If I had to do it again, I think I might consider spending the extra money on a quieter unit and drawers that don’t hang up, pulling in and out. It’s not a cheap fridge, by any means. Maybe I’m just spoiled and expect more

you will be disappointed. We have a family of 4 – If you are buying this and expect to have plenty of ice, you will be disappointed. We have a family of 4, and are not known for using an excessive amount of ice, just normal everyday use. If all four of us happen to want a glass of water and ice for a meal together, or because we live in the south with sweltering humidity and heat, and we were all outside doing yard work, we must divide between us the frugal amount of ice this machine generates. Heaven forbid we have our older kids come visit and want an ice cold beverage. On a positive note, the water dispenses out with great force, this is usually good, but often causes excessive amounts of water on the floor, clothing & people’s faces. Let me explain, the design of the water retrieval and ice dispenser is hilarious, and if you are in to practical jokes, this is the water dispenser for you and yours!!! If you happen to have a larger glass, say bigger than a toddler size, and attempt to get some ice, the water button is EASILY triggered (A lot like I am over this STUPID refrigerator!!!) It is quite funny to see the surprised and momentary startled look on my 78 year old mother as she thinks she’s getting just ice for her drink and has a huge spray of water that dispenses but hits her glass, then ricochets from the glass, spraying all over her in the process. I plan to start videoing when guests use it, hoping something I tape goes viral and I might make enough money from some ‘pay for funny moments’ site and can buy a new and DIFFERENT refrigerator. It’s also the stupidest design for shelving, since the 1960’s. No moveable slots and the back of the shelves (especially in the freezer) have open spaces so food packages and items conveniently fall down to the bottom shelf. It’s really fun to fetch the frozen bag of corn out from behind the bottom drawer, which must be removed to reach the bag of corn, although a bonus workout for me since the bottom drawer happens to be significanly heavy from holding it’s own bunch of frozen items. One positive note, it’s a nice shade of white and holds magnets* beautifully. (***magnets that hold our newly posted yard schedule so we stagger our times outside, hoping this helps us to manage to have a half full cup of ice water (ice being the important word there).

Perfect size – This is the perfect size for my house. It’s cold and makes ice very fast. I love it so far so good. The delivery was amazing. My mom was home by herself to accept the delivery. Love this fridge! – A lot of people have complained about this fridge but I disagree. We’ve had it for a month now and I really don’t have any complaints. If I were going to complain it would be about the excess grease on some spots. When we were taking it apart (from shipping) there were several large spots of grease on certain sections. One of those was the temperature slider for the crisper. Some other spots were on the bottom of the inside and a couple of globs in the shelf’s. I complained of it at the time but really some paper towels and kitchen spray cleaned it up. As far as the noise of it running, I only notice it every once in a while. And that’s usually when all the TVs, etc have been turned off and the house is silent.
