Tasty Ice, Troublesome Maker – This machine is a DIVA!!! It takes a ton of care and feeding and there is no telling whether or not it will make ice. We have had the maker for just over a year and it is aggravating. Don’t get me wrong the ice is great tasting and has just the right texture for chomping. The problem is that we cannot consistently get the icemaker to work. I have called the manufacturer a couple of times but they are not really a help. They just ask if we have been supplying the maker w/ distilled water (we have supplied filtered water). Then when they are not a help, they said to just to send it from SC to CA at my expense.

Great little Ice maker & we love that it dispenses the ice. – We have two of these units we like them so well! One at home & one at the office. One unit stopped working after a few months & when I contacted the help line they had me do a hard reset, issue reappeared. Within two weeks they had a new unit at my door. Easiest warranty resolution I have ever had. Don’t think you can go wrong with this unit! 5 out of 5 would buy again!
