An alternative to a portable gas stove – I got a single stove option in hopes of using it in place of a portable gas stove for dinner table bbq, fondue, and etc with the freedom of choice of pots and pans. I’ve always used electric cook tops and already am familiar with how-tos, and this single hi-lite which is different from an induction is very easy to use with simple touch buttons and works just as expected. The cooking surface is a bit smaller than preferred however. The description also says that the model I got can be set directly on the countertop, but I am not sure since there are no feet as shown in the photos or any mention of bracket parts. Overall quality is sturdy and the top surface is durable and easy to clean with the included scrapper.
