Buyer Beware – I just bought this small wine refrigerator with compressor last week. Delivery was excellent, the unit is a small and nice design. It fits standard size wine bottles side by side, but don’t expect to put champagne or odd size wine bottles next to any other on a rack – only one of those will fit. The unit would be quiet if it didn’t cycle on and off every 2 minutes. When the compressor comes on every 2 minutes, it runs about 20 seconds, then clicks off but gurgles. It is keeping the temp I set amd my wine is cold, but I called about the rapid on and off cycling. My fridge is level (checked with a level) with plenty of clearance on all sides and sits in a 70° basement so I don’t think it should run all the time as it does. Customer service says it’s “normal” but other customers state their fridges do not rapidly cycle on and off. I would return it, but I foolishly threw away the packaging. If you buy this unit, keep the packaging in case you want to return it. I am bummed because I wanted to like it more. Now I wait to see what my electric bill shows after the compressor constantly running.
