Stopped working shortly after purchase – Not recommended. Range hood stopped working after 6 months. The lights and display blink constantly and when attempting to turn it on using the remote control or power on button, the fan and lights come on and immediately shut off. I have tried everything, unplugging for 5min-30min-hrs and days, nothing worked. I really liked the look of this hood and the quiet fan but didn’t get a chance to really enjoy it in our newly remodeled kitchen. I’ve searched the entire internet for troubleshooting help to no avail. Very disappointed.

11/10 recommend for following building codes but also convincing your guests/self you’re a Chef™️ – You don’t want to be that person that panic dials the fire department only to have them arrive before you’ve had the chance to put pants on because you tried to do the whole seductively-cooking-bacon-naked-to-impress-the-date-that-stayed-the-night-thing that subsequently created a grease fire thanks to your lack of vent hood, do you?

There was an issue but – There was an issue when our contractor was installing this and that was that it was VERY noisy. To the point where he uninstalled it. My husband got involved and they both together had to alter the flaps that open and close. I was extremely worried I got a dud and was relieved that they were able to fix it..somewhat. It would have cost a pretty penny if our contractor had to come over and install a different one. He spent hours cutting our wood cabinet customizing it for this particular one.

Great value – It’s very quiet and easy to install. I will say my older parents have trouble figuring out the buttons and features, but I’m not surprised. The remote is a little of a complicated thing to keep up with in a kitchen though. I keep it above my refrigerator, so it’s not that convenient, but I think it’s strange to have a remote for a vent-a-hood.

Broken after 9 months but the manufacturer sent me a replacement. – I’m changing my one star review to five. The manufacturer heard my original unit broke and they sent me a replacement. The new unit has some nice improvements to the control board and to the vents. This new unit is quieter and after two weeks has been running flawlessly. I’m very satisfied at the moment!

Very Happy – Our Vent broke a few weeks back, but finding one that would fit our space and look good was a challenge. I saw this, it matched all of our measurements, so I gave it a try. Not only is this super solid and well made, it was so easy to install and worked the moment we turned it on. Great motor that is not too loud and has two speeds, high and low. Great price for the quality, highly recommend.
