This cooktop will not simmer. – The unit is beautiful. I liked it a lot. Controls are fine. The problem is that the elements can’t be adjusted down to barely simmer temp. At the lowest temp available, any small quantity of liquid boils..solid food sticks at lowest temp. Just not acceptable. Temps are preset and there are not enough of them. These things are plenty hot but like many cooktops, they won’t simmer. I returned it for a unit with 20 presets, down to 100 degrees f.
