When summer arrives your going to be glad you have one of these – These have saved me so much money and now I always have ice, excellent for parties or family gathering, stop spending money on ice, make your own,and feel confident that you aren’t a slave to having to run out and buy,buy,buy more ice, I have to have ice when I get home and this Igloo ice maker, is a truly great addition to my household appliances, it makes quite a bit of ice in a short amount of time, unless you like having to make batch after batch from the ice makers in your refrigerator.

nice crunchy ice – i have had 3 opal ice machines in the last 2.5 years and bought this machine to see how it stacks up. its not nugget ice but its not hard ice and its good for a nice soft crunch. it doesn’t hold as much water as opal so i refill it more often but thats ok

I really like it. – i got this to use at work. I like ice in my drinks. Everyone looked at me funny when It was delivered. It was easy to set up an in about 7 minutes there was ice. Now everyone at work uses it. I really like it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the water reservoir is not to big have to fill it several times a day but it gets used a lot everyday. And the ice hopper doesn’t keep the ice cold and it melts fast. If I had to buy another one I would have no problem getting another one.

It’s not a freezer – First thing I have to say is, this will not keep your ice from melting. I know most of these smaller ice makers don’t do that, but I want you to go into this knowing if you leave ice in the box it will melt eventually.

Stopped working after few uses! – Do not buy! I had to get a replacement for the first one and now I’ve had it for 1 week passed the return date and it won’t turn on. It is junk and they won’t do anything about it! Buyer beware. My man complaint is I have to restart it every time it runs out of water, my last one automatically restarted and I find this annoying. It runs out of water frequently, small water reservoir, it does not have a self clean. But the ice is good and I use it all day long.

Works great – I got this for my Dad for his garage. His fridge doesn’t have a water line so I figured this would be the next best thing for ice. It works great, produces ice quickly that can be put in the freezer right away. HOWEVER, if you leave the ice right in the ice maker, it will not keep it frozen.
