    Good but bad handles – They do well for taking the carpet, but the handles are rough and splinter.

    Super helpful – I bought this when I moved into a place with carpet covering almost all the floor space and it was super helpful, especially when I was moving out. I’ve liked having two of them because, since there was so much carpet, we were able to have two people raking at a time. Even in a small house, I thought it was worth it. These are very sturdy and well-made. Unfortunately, my roommates and I just moved into a new house with no carpet so we’re just storing them except for when we need a pole for something.

    Luv it! – I never knew about a carpet rake until I saw it being used by the professional carpet cleaner. This was model that most closely resembled what he used. Simple and quick to use. I have 2 large dogs. Used it for 5 to 10 minutes before I vacuum. I only gave 4 stars for deep cleaning because I only own area rugs. Not sure what it would do on deeper shag. But because this is close to what the expert with 22 years experience used, I think it should work. Buy it if you have pets and want to see your carpets bounce back.
