Be mindful of limited warranty – We bought this Frigidaire countertop ice maker (exact as pictured) in February 2022. Review written in October 2022. Product still works well, however, when I had an issue I found out that the Frigidaire website did not recognize the model on their website or any other countertop ice makers. I was not able to register the product or access any information. When I looked on the back of the ice maker I saw curtisinc.com and wondered if I’d been scammed. Apparently manufacturing (China) and ‘support’ (Canada) goes through curtisinc. The warranty is limited to 30 days. I was able to resolve the issue after searching YouTube. Make sure you regularly (once a month) clean the ice maker and use it’s cleaning cycle. Took me about 45 minutes (after the 20 min cycle) to clean it. Clean the vent and van also. I used q-tips and vinegar.

Great Ice Maker – We ordered a $2,000 ice maker that makes ice continuously to replace our old one that had stopped working and was too expensive to repair. The ordered one keeps going backorder so we figured we would get this one until the other finally shipped.

The best ice maker machine!! – I am so happy with this machine! It is super quiet compared to two other machines I’ve bought (Euhomy and Lerizom). Makes ice super quickly (again, compared to the two other machines owned). It keeps the ice cold. Ice cubes taste good and stay cold. The price is a steal given all the pros I’ve mentioned. If this one happens to break down at some point, I would still purchase again just because it works so good when it’s working (fingers crossed it will be for a long time).

Works great (and fast), Ice is small’ish, Needs Audible Indicator – Purchased this because the ice maker in our Samsung refrigerator has failed, multiple times. Rather than spending a couple thousand on a new refrigerator just for the ice maker, picked this up instead. It works great. Sets of ice usually take about 6-7 minutes or so (8 “cylinder” shaped cubes). It has both “small” and “large” settings for the cube size but I always keep it on large. I can’t imagine what small would be as large isn’t that big (though the time would likely speed up to create small cubes too). They are hollow in the middle due to design so melt fast but do the job. The only reason I’m marking this a 4-star is because it needs some sort of audio indicator to “beep” when it needs attention (ice bin full or needs water). It does have visual indicators on top (little red lights) to let you know it needs attention but, most often, we’re in the other room and the ice that’s been made is just sitting there melting because the bin needs to be emptied. If it beeped to let us know it was full, we’d know to come look at it. Other than that, happy with this ice maker. It does the job.
