High volume of ice cubes – This model is just what I was looking for. I had another machine (different company) for a few yrs that had a few overheating issues. This one is set up with a high quality fan that stays on while it cycles pumping the water and dropping the ice. The other brand I had would shut the fan off, causing more time for it to overheat and have a harder time freezing the water. It is vented very good for good air flow for the heavy duty fan. The ice seams to not melt as fast as other ice machines, even though this is not to store ice.
