Just in time for the holidays. – Haven’t has a working oven in my parents house for decades. Been using convection ovens and toaster ovens. Nothing beats a real flame. It makes cooking fun again! The flush hood is easy to wipe. Very happy!

I Like this Stove… – The only problems I’ve had are that the bottom drawer doesn’t sit straight. You have to lift one end and push it in.

Win! – I have been wanting a gas range for years. When our horrible, awful, glass top electric oven quit (2nd one in under 5 years) I pleaded my case to convert to gas. We do not have hookup access, so everything had to be installed and we needed a conversion kit. This range does not have all the bells and whistles of a high-end “chef’s kitchen” inspired monstrosity, but it can out-cook anything electric I have ever used in the past. The burners are so powerful that I’m learning to take it down a notch – or several, and stove top cooking is FASTER than ever. The larger capacity boil burner heats water so much faster that I actually have had to change how I time my dishes. I just made 2 loaves of zucchini bread in the oven, and I think for the first time ever, they were done in the time recommended by the recipe without needing to be constantly checked or the time re-adjusted.
