It may take a bit longer to heat up to a boil but i have been know for instant gratification is not soon enough. I’ve had no issue or complaints on this stove. Some reviews said it was difficult to wire up, it being a 4 wire to and older two wire house. I’m lucky my son in law is an electrician he said it was no problem and had it wired up in minutes.
