Description not accurate – I received mine yesterday, let it sit for 24 hours per instructions, got it set up today. So far, so good. But the description on Amazon is wrong on some items. For example, the description here on Amazon says the upper zone temp range is 40 – 54…..it says lower is 54 – 64. Reality is both zones are 40 – 65. Not a problem for me, but I normally rely on the description to be ACCURATE.

Disappointing and stuck with it. – I was so excited to get this wine fridge but it’s loud and it doesn’t stay cool. Every hour it will make a loud whirring sound and I have to check the temp everyday to see if its even chilling. It’s very frustrating. I’ve had it about 2 months and do not recommend.

Probably the best Dual Zone Compressor Wind Cooler in this lower price range. – So this is my second 38 bottle Edgestar Dual Zone Wine Cooler. My first one just died after 6 years of rather dependable use. I was hesitant to order another basically same one but I did truly like the older model. They fit the most amount of bottles and do a great job of maintaining two temp zones for my red and whites, beers, etc… And it looks great in my family room. This newer model is just slightly different, definitely quieter which is a plus, not that the old one was that loud but it was noticeable. The controls are now inside vs on the outside upper door. Cant say that is a major plus or minus, other than now you have to open the door to make a change, but how often do you need to change temps? One major change is now either upper or lower can be temp controlled for the full range, meaning you can make either area your white or red wine storage area. The air fans are moved from that central panel to the rear walls and I dont hear them coming on and off anymore. Longevity in the end will be the ultimate decider but fingers crossed this one lasts 10+ years! A great wine cooler for the money.

Not my idea of a successful purchase. – It arrived destroyed. The box was wet and torn up. The unit’s metal cabinet looked as if it had been dropped from a significant height. The interior of the wine cooler was covered in oil from the motor which had leaked when it was compromised in the melee. I plugged it in anyway. Within seconds it was smoking. Yeah, me too at this point. Through all of this, the glass door was in excellent condition. I’m now waiting to see what they do.

Perfect wine cooler!! – We were looking for a smaller wine cooler for under the counter in our bar. This is just perfect. It keeps the whites at a cooler temperature than the reds. It has a cool blue light for the temperature which can be shut off but we think it gives a nice effect and ambiance. The stainless steel gives it a modern and sleek look. It came very quickly and in mint condition. I would highly recommend it! For all you wine lovers, this is what you need!!
