So Happy Now! – I have an under-counter ice maker, but it quit working a couple of months ago. I’ve tried to clean the parts, but it was still dead. Then I looked up how much it costs to replace it, and I was shocked by the big price tag! After looking all over for a similar unit, I came across this one that is almost the identical size (just a bit shorter than my old one but I can easily fix that by putting some boards underneath), similar specs, and the metallic look matches my furniture perfectly. I ran it a couple of times so far and it seems quiet and produces ice fast. The tray is removable and very easy to clean. The entire design is thoughtful and user friendly. Not to mention the price is a fraction of those brand-named units! I’m so happy with this ice maker. In fact I’m gonna grab a cold drink right now lol!

Awesome… – This will be a two-part review, just received this item and I am really looking forward to getting it setup for use. So for the first half of my review, I will talk about this unit before I use it. I was looking for an ice machine that would supplement my refrigerator one. With company my refrigerator won’t keep up in the ice department so I picked this unit out. Some features I really liked are that it is pretty compact, makes and holds a decent amount of Ice and does not need to be refilled with water. I checked the electrical rating and it draws 1.2 amps, that is really low so it can be plugged into any outlet without the need for a separate circuit. It does need a water line but it is not too hard to add one, I really did not want to have to monitor refilling. I hope to install this into a cabinet for a nice tucked in look, the handle can be mounted either side so I don’t need to worry too much where it is installed based on door swing. For now I don’t have the cabinet so it will be freestanding, I checked and the feet are adjustable to prevent any wobble on uneven surfaces. Lastly it arrived undamaged, seemed to be packed pretty good to prevent it from getting beat up. Mine arrived upside down, due to having a compressor I would always recommend letting the unit sit right side up for a day or two before turning on. Once I get it hooked up I will review the second part of operation and performance.

Game changer! – We are so pleasantly surprised by this great little unit! It makes a ton of ice, is quiet and efficient and surprising affordable. We installed this into a cabinet space below the counter. It’s short enough that it even fit without removing the drawer above. It has been a huge life saver for our big, active family with lots of water bottles to be filled multiple times a day. It is quiet and was delivered in perfect condition. The plumber installed it in 2 hours, that included retro-fitting the cabinet box below. It is a seamless installation, matches our other appliances and looks like it’s always been there.

I have had no luck trying to get a customer service phone number for Cotlin and have been waiting for the seller to contact us for over 4 days. I have spoken to Amazon customer service twice and all they can do is contact seller and ask them to contact me. I know I can start a return but if it’s any easy fix, I’d rather repair it.
