      SO FAR SO GOOD! – Received the wine cooler early yesterday. It was well packed and came without any noticeable damage. I had purchased a sturdy table to put it on since I have back problems and leaning over is uncomfortable. That works perfectly. I plugged it in and checked it after about 3 hours and it was cooling nicely. I put in some wine bottles, some bottles of water and a few beers and this morning everything was chilled. Very little noticeable sound when it’s cooling. My only issue is that I wish there was a replacement shelf that I could buy to have one shelf to stand up beverages on. I checked online and could not find one.

      I ordered for Pinot storage – works well. Pinot capacity is 15 – 20 bottles. Shelves slide out. – I’ve been on the hunt for a wine cooler that can handle my bigger bottles of wine, the Pinots, something that gives a shelving option not just a piling alternative. This unit works – Comfee Wine Cellar CRW29S3AST – but to keep the labels intact and not scraping against the racks the total capacity is reduced to about half of the 29 regular bottle capacity. I can fit about 15 Pinot bottles if I keep all of the shelving in place. If I use the piling approach I can comfortably fit 20 bottles – that’s sliding out two of the shelves. The metal racks handle the weight well (I went with a 7-bottle max per shelf), there’s good support from the sides with secure ledges.

The compressor is extremely quite and the door is double paned so it insulates the inside of the fridge well. I only wish the wine fridge could go a bit cooler, but its cool enough for most beverages.
