Loud in small kitchens – Hood arrived on time and with no damage due to excellent packing. Mounted over a high output gas stove and with normal cooking pulls everything airborne outside (6” duct out roof). Tried blackened fish which the hood even on high wasn’t able to keep my Nest smoke alarm in the next room from repeatedly warning of smoke but never went to screeching.

Worthless directions. – It’s up, it works and it looks good, but what a pain in the butt to install. It would have been so much easier with directions that were helpful. There were pieces and steps and measurements that weren’t even covered in the directions, and those that were helped only a little. So, 4 stars from me today because it does work and looks nice, but if I had reviewed it yesterday it probably would have only gotten 2 since I wasted so much time during the installation and was extremely frustrated by the time I finished.

What to do with baffles? – No instructions on installing the baffles. Otherwise the product is a great value.

Looks Great and Works Great. – We had a Cavaliere range hood in our old home and were generally very happy with it. When we moved and were renovating our new place the decorator was recommending a unit that was nearly 3 times the price but was visually similar. We researched Cavaliere and were very happy to find them available on Amazon at a very fair price.

Great Hood – Just remodeled my kitchen and bought this hood to go over my new range. The price was right. About half of what I would have paid at my local appliance store and it looks very professional. The LED lights are very good. It kicks on automatically when heat is detected. It does come with a remote, though I can’t see myself using it. The suction is good. I wold love the noise level to be non-existent, but you would need to pay quite a bit more for that feature and it simply isn’t worth it.

Very nice vent hood at competitive price for the features and performance – Purchased this new vent hood after waiting from national backlog in Aug 2022 when no vendor had this model in stock for a great lowered price hundreds of dollars higher now. Honestly, I was nervous ordering from Amazon sold by Decorative Kitchen & Bath instead of from the mfg or the bigger online places like Wayfair but took less than two weeks from order to receipt from CA to NY. No damage, functionality, or missing parts issues and everything is as expected. I used No.10 screws instead of the supplied No.8 screws just for my own confidence. I was renovating so the wall behind the vent hood was exposed to studs where I added blocking for the screws and running new outlet to hide the 115vac plug for a neater look so this may not be within your project. The fan is loud at 4 setting but I don’t mind with the cooking I do. The fan does move quite a bit of air and you can feel it at the exhaust side but not so much from under the hood intake. I feel it is close to 900cfm at max setting and happy with choice. I planned to use 7” diameter round duct but couldn’t easily fit into the above floor cavity so went with the original 6” specified size. This would have likely reduced some of the air flow sound at max setting. Overall happy with unit and vendor.
